The MENA Thalassaemia Experience, developed through a strategic collaboration between the Thalassaemia International Federation (TIF) and Medscape Education Global, returns in a fully virtual format on 30–31 October 2026.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, and with the safety and well-being of participants, faculty and partners as the highest priority, the Masterclass will now be delivered entirely online.
Designed for physicians across the Middle East and North Africa, this two-day CME-accredited Masterclass will deliver an engaging, case-based programme led by internationally renowned experts. Patient journeys, clinical forums and practical discussions will be at the heart of the programme, supporting the advancement of thalassaemia care across the region.
About the Masterclass
The MENA Thalassaemia Experience is an interactive, patient-centred educational activity bringing together leading international experts and physicians actively involved in the management of thalassaemia.
Although the Masterclass will now be held virtually, the programme has been carefully designed to provide a highly interactive and engaging learning experience.

Following submission, Medscape will review the responses and notify applicants regarding acceptance. The selection process aims to create a diverse and inclusive group of participants aligned with the Masterclass’s educational objectives.
Selected participants are expected to attend the full programme on both days.
