Amal Daoud

Board member

Mrs. Amal Daoud holds a Master’s Degree in Public & Community Health (MPH 1999) and a post-pharmacy degree (BPharm/RPh registered in RI, USA), which has allowed her to gain exposure to various environments and acquire technical skills. With over 25 years of experience in health and education, she has worked with grassroots community organizations and non-governmental institutions in Palestine.

For 11 years, Mrs. Daoud served at Birzeit University’s Institution of Community & Public Health as a research assistant, teaching assistant, and administrative coordinator for alumni and staff activities. She then held several management positions in international NGOs, working on health, education, and development programmes, as well as project implementation across various sectors.

Mrs. Daoud has been an active member of the Thalassemia Patients’ Friends Society-Palestine (TPFS) for nearly two decades, having been elected to the TPFS board three times. She has also engaged with TIF communications during local and international conferences, workshops, and regional activities while currently being part of the TIF’s Arab Forum.
