Mrs. Amal Daoud holds a Master’s Degree in Public & Community Health (MPH 1999) and a post-pharmacy degree (BPharm/RPh registered in RI, USA), which has allowed her to gain exposure to various environments and acquire technical skills. With over 25 years of experience in health and education, she has worked with grassroots community organizations and non-governmental institutions in Palestine.
For 11 years, Mrs. Daoud served at Birzeit University’s Institution of Community & Public Health as a research assistant, teaching assistant, and administrative coordinator for alumni and staff activities. She then held several management positions in international NGOs, working on health, education, and development programmes, as well as project implementation across various sectors.
Mrs Daoud has been an active member of the Thalassemia Patients’ Friends Society–Palestine (TPFS) for nearly two decades and has been elected to its Board on three occasions. She has also engaged with TIF through local and international conferences, workshops and regional activities, and is currently a member of TIF’s Arab Forum.
