On the occasion of today´s World Hepatitis Day and with the aim of informing and raising awareness among patients with thalassaemia – and not only – about viral hepatitis that continues to plague tens of millions of people across the world, Prof John Koskinas, Professor of Medicine and Hepatology, Department of Internal Medicine, Medical School of Athens at Hippokration General Hospital, gave an enlightening interview to TIF on the prevention and treatment of viral hepatitis with a special focus on thalassaemia.
