Maria Peletie obtained her BA (Hons) in Public Relations (Marketing) from Philips College, Cyprus, in 1997. Since 2009, she has served as Personal Assistant to TIF’s Executive Director and as TIF’s Office and Accounts Administrator. She brings extensive experience in public relations, office management, finance, and business communications, gained through roles with Cypriot and international companies. Her previous positions include Director’s Personal Assistant, Marketing Officer, Office Administrator, and Insurance and Financial Consultant. At TIF, she applies this expertise to supporting the Federation’s mission to improve the lives of people with thalassaemia.
She provides comprehensive, confidential, and high-level professional support to the Executive Director, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and the consistent delivery of high-quality work aligned with TIF’s mission and objectives. As the Executive Director’s primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, she facilitates effective communication and supports designated projects under the Director’s guidance.
