Katia Pelides holds a BSc in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey, USA, a BA in English Teaching from The College of New Jersey, USA, a MSc in Nursing (Health Promotion) from Old Dominion University, Virginia, USA and a MEd in Educational Technology from University of Manchester, UK. She is a licensed professional registered nurse in the State of New Jersey, US (inactive status) and a licensed educator in English Language and Literature for K5-12 in the State of Montana, US. She began collaborating with TIF in January 2019, coordinating projects for the TIF e-Academy. In July 2023, she joined the Federation full-time, taking responsibility for educational initiatives and programmes for patients and healthcare professionals. She has nearly two decades of teaching experience in higher education, initially as a lecturer in nursing and later in English for Academic Purposes, both at undergraduate level.
