Grand Programme / Variety Show”May 8th World Thalassemia Day”.

Event 1: Grand awareness programme / variety show at convention centre Islamabad, invitingguests from all walks of life including performers of stage & film industry, emphasizing the importance of awareness / prevention of thalassemia. We would request the honorable Minister for information & broadcast grace this occasion as chief guest. (Educational event e.g., lecture)

Other events: Friendly Cricket match, Date: 7 May 2018, 3-6pm

A friendly night cricket match between teams of Thalassemia patients vs. National Celebrities at cricket stadium, Lahore with a musical concert for awareness of Thalassaemia. Complete event with live media coverage.

Event: Pakistan Thalassemia expedition, Educational event

Date and time: 1-6 May 2018

Description: A group of Thalassaemic children along with officials to reach out people around Pakistan / media in all parts of Pakistan to inculcate massive awareness about Thalassemia at National level as well as thalassemia blood screening.
