Post-Graduate Institute of Child Health, Noida, India

The Post-Graduate Institute of Child Health (PGICH) is a large academic medical institute, offering clinical services along with post-graduate teaching and performing high-level clinical research in the broad field of Paediatrics. PGICH is located in Noida, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the largest state of India with a total population of nearly 240 million.

The Department of Paediatric Haematology at PGICH is an academic unit specializing in the comprehensive care of paediatric patients with haematological disorders and haematological malignancies. Since 2020, an 8-bed Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit has been established within the department, and to date, 58 transplants have been successfully performed for patients with thalassaemia.
