Ramtahibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand

The Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Ramathibodi Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Mahidol University, functions as a major academic and clinical hub for the management of hemoglobinopathies. Operating in close collaboration with the Department of Internal Medicine, the Centre ensures continuity of care across paediatric and adult services. It provides care for approximately 20% of patients with thalassemia in the Bangkok region and plays a leading role among university hospitals nationwide.

Under the administrative and clinical leadership of Duantida Songdej, M.D., Ph.D., the Centre integrates high-quality clinical care with strong translational research and international collaboration, and has extensive experience in cellular therapies, including haploidentical allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
