The destructive earthquakes that recently hit Turkey and Syria, have left millions of people homeless and in dire need of medical assistance and support.
Among these people, the Thalassaemia International Federation (TIF) estimates that at least 2,000 patients with thalassaemia have been affected, 70% of whom are children and adolescents under the age of 20.
To help alleviate the tremendous suffering of as many individuals as possible within our patient communities, we at TIF have stepped up and launched an emergency appeal for donations through a dedicated crowdfunding campaign.
