Maria Peletie obtained her BA (Hons) in Public Relations (Marketing) from Philips College, Cyprus, in 1997. She has a long experience in public relations, office management, finances and business communications, skills she dedicates to helping thalassaemia patients in the framework of her work at TIF. Previous professional experience includes work as Director’s Personal Assistant, marketing officer, Office Administrator and Insurance & Financial Consultant in international and Cypriot companies, Since 2009, she is the Personal Assistant to TIF’s Executive Director and TIF’s Office & Accounts Administrator.
Through her role, she is responsible for providing a comprehensive, confidential and high level professional support to the Ex. Director in all aspects concerned with the efficient and successful operation of the office, ensuring that high level deliverables are maintained as per TIF’s mission and objectives. She acts as the Ex. Director’s first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisation and she supports specific projects, as per the Ex. Director’s instructions. She is also responsible to assist TIF staff in resolving any issues promptly and in an appropriate manner.
